Before you diagnose yourself with depression or low self-esteem, first make sure you are not, in fact, surrounded by arseholes
Tapping - Brilliant for if you can't snap out of negative patterns, struggling with mental health, your mind won't stop thinking negative things, negative perceptions.
Are you losing it? Do you have Anger, rage and other related issues? All you want is to sort out your emotions?. Tapping may help you permanently. I find in person is better but online works and also self tapping from youtube tutorials can be of assistance. I highly recommend a session with Rosie from the link underneath.

Tai Chi - Good for slowing your body and mind down - Helps with anxiety - Also gets your energy flowing. My favourite beginner's channel for tai chi on youtube is TaiFlow.

Yoga - I find classes are best but whatever works for you is fine. It gives you a sense of peace and calming, slowing the mind and body down so you can think and feel better. There are so many benefits would recommend it as a regular activity.
Meditation - Go to a group meditation class or do it by yourself at home or in nature. You can do it in silence, to meditation music, binaural beats or guided meditations.

The Magic by Ronda Byrne - Great for a positive shift within the mind, teaches the power of gratitude, even if you don't get through it all as long as you do a few exercises it will still help in some manner. Below is a Youtube playlist I made of the audiobook.

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne - A documentary and book - What you put out vibrationally you basically receive back. Available on Netflix
Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch - A true story movie that can help with being happy with 0r without material possessions, being happy with nothing and/or what you have. A good eye-opener.
Detox - The clearer your body is the better it works and your mind - good to do when having issues with health. I know small things like this can sound silly but until you personally feel the changes yourself you wouldn't think it would make that much or any difference.
Healthy eating - Try whole foods with fruit even just for 1 day and see how you feel. Banana's a good start.
Breath work - One simple little breath when done right can work wonders. Take a deep full breath, press your lips together only opening them a tiny amount to let the air out (which you can adjust to get the right airflow), and just let the air flow out naturally making sure to let the air out for a lot longer than you breathed in for, normal but deep breath in - slower controlled breath out.
Help others - Help or do something good or nice for someone else. It's very rewarding. Helps raise your vibration and feel better. The Happiness Trifecta. When we help others, our brains release oxytocin, serotonin and dopamine. These hormones have the effect of boosting our mood and counteract the effect of cortisol (the stress hormone).
Accomplish something - Be it something big or small, accomplishing something will make you feel better about achieving a goal. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter often referred to as the “chemical of reward.” When you score a goal, hit a target, or accomplish a task, you receive a pleasurable hit of dopamine in your brain that tells you you've done a good job.
